Celebrities and responsibilities

Celebrities are those who are known by many. This includes people such as Billie Eilish, Twenty One Pilots, Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande and many more.

What are the roles and responsibilities of a digital citizen in the modern world? In order to know this we have to take a deeper dive into the making of the celebrity for example, the popular band known as Twenty One Pilots.

There is no doubt this is my favorite band. They write their song to help people with mental illnesses and let them know they’re not alone. Each of their songs has a meaning behind that some people may understand and others may not. From listening to the beat to paying attention to the lyrics, Twenty One Pilots takes the person on a ride of different emotions.

How did they grow? Well, like most celebrities, they made music. Starting out in small places as a venue with a few fifty people to now playing in concert halls filled with hundreds of people.

A very known way to gain their fame is by the use of social media. Without research, this is a known way to make someone grow. Other celebrities such as Thomas Sanders and Gabbie Hanna have grown from Vine. Vine used to be a popular social media plate where people made 6 second videos to share with others.

According to my research, Twenty One Pilots began performing in their hometown, Ohio, were they became known by several locals. From then they continued to perform and now are loved by many!

Something new that I found out is that a group of Twenty One Pilots fans have created a project which is a fundraiser to try and make a positive impact on the world. The Kitchen Sink Project is named after one of their songs Kitchen Sink.

I will be trying to update weekly on future findings with celebrities and responsibilities. I will also plan to make a future episode on my podcast!
