With the new year coming up, some are trying to get their New Years resolution settled in. Here are some fun projects to help keep track of those goals.

Vision board

If you don’t know what a vision board is, it’s a board with several images of things you would want to accomplish during the year. For example, if some of your goals are to travel more, exercise, be happy, go to a concert, meet someone specific, etc. then look up images to represent the goals and organize them on the board. Put it up somewhere where you will see it everyday so you’re being constantly reminded of what you’re aiming for.

Year collage

A year collage is similar to the vision board. Grab a poster board and write out some things that you would want to do. For example, using the same examples as before in traveling, exercise, or see someone specific. Write down the goals spread out on the poster. Decorate around the goals with doodles and drawings to personalize it. Throughout the year when a goal is accomplished, take a picture, print it out and stick it in the place holder where you wrote the goal. At the end of the year, reflect and see what you got done and what to do next year.

Bullet journal

Bullet journals are notebooks with calendars, trackers, to do lists and so on. It’s great for the New Years to keep track on what you did. Somewhere in the journal write down your New Years resolution. A bullet journal can be taken with you all the time to keep you organized. When you complete your goal, go ahead and write it in. Bullet journals are like planners expect they are personally made and filled with whatever you want.

Habit trackers

Habit trackers are found in bullet journals. This is for things to do weekly or monthly. Write stuff like exercise, read, draw, sports, and write. At the end of the week or month, list down how many times you did the specific hobby. At the end of the year you can see what to improve for the next.

(Mood tracker from Redbubble)

Mood tracker

A mood tracker is a large calendar which is color coded. Make columns for each month. Fill the columns with the amount of days in the month. At the bottom add a color code. For example: red- the best day, orange- really good day, yellow- okay day, green- sad day, blue- really sad day, purple- the worst day. At the end of the year when all the squares are filled in, you’ll see how you felt that year

Journal entries

This is easier if you already own a journal or diary. Just write in it everyday!

A second a day

Record a second of everyday (the best part of possible) at the end of the year, put all the one second clips into one video and see your year!

Hopefully this helps and try them out! These tools can help you keep track of what’s going on, be organized and see a visual representation of what’s to come.
