Why I began a Blog

I explain how I got to the decision of making a blog!

As normally when kids are young they want to be something in the future such as a teacher, comedian, model, or movie star. What did I want to be? So many things. I had an endless mind when it came with what I want to do with my future.

In the fifth grade I wanted to be an artist because I could draw like a pro. I used to draw human faces all the time. I drew my family and then I moved to celebrities. I look at the masterpiece I have made and I was proud! I ended up finding one and let me just say.. I don’t know what I saw and thought.. yup this so looks so good! So I re-drew it.

(At least the second time it actually looked like a person I guess.. :/ )

I began thinking more about my future as time went by. I had a struck of realization when I couldn’t think of a way I would be able to make my paintings and drawing into a career. I gave up and moved onto something else.

I ended up finding a passion for photography. I loved taking photos of random object and editing them to make it look artsy. That dream ended real quick when someone said “can you get a better angle?”.. yea so I moved on!

In the 21st century a lot has happened, and I mean with technology. I don’t know if you know about this thing called.. “YouTube”. I ended watching so many different YouTubers that I wanted to be one! I thought yes!

Youtubers make money at home by just being funny online. But that also failed when my parents gave me a speech on “hackers”.. okay.

For some odd reason, I don’t know why, I wanted to be a movie director. There was no back story to this I just wanted to direct movies! Before going to sleep I thought about a movie that I would direct called “Emerald Run”. It would be about these four girls who go out and find a magical emerald gem and i don’t know what else. Of course I wasn’t going to direct that specific movie that I had completely made up before bedtime som I had a different idea.

I couldn’t direct a movie that was never written so I decided to write out my own book the way I would imagine the movie to be like. I ended up using my idea from “Emerald Run” and turned it into Emerald rings that the four girls wear. After completely writing my first book ever I realized I loved making an imaginary world and control story book characters so, I want to be a writer.

Now to respond to the statement of the title of this article is, I ended up taking a class where I write all the time. I joined the newspaper club for writing so my teacher told me to make a blog. This has been like the fifth time this year someone has said that to me. You know what? You only live once.. And this blog was created.

Thanks for reading! I really do enjoy writing so much and the first book I talked about, I hand wrote the entire thing so now I’m typing it up and I’ll probably upload it on Wattpad!
